ALMA: Agentic Clinical Variant Interpretation

Loka's Agentic Literature Mining Assistant (ALMA) helps clinical genomics teams turn hours of literature review into a sourced evidence record for each variant. Your experts review the evidence and approve the classification. Built and owned in your AWS account. AWS funded for qualified customers.

Loka builds ALMA into a variant interpretation pipeline that runs inside your AWS account. ALMA splits the work into two lanes. The computed lane handles allelic frequency and other annotation criteria deterministically using gnomAD, Ensembl VEP and ClinVar, so no language model states a number. The literature lane uses agents on Amazon Bedrock to read full text papers and supplementary materials for proband counts, segregation, de novo status and functional evidence.

Every criterion comes back with its strength, sources, exact location in sources and reasoning. Every citation is checked, and claims that can't be verified are dropped. Your qualified reviewer can accept, adjust, or reject the proposed evidence assessment before signing the classification.
